Philippine Army Officers’ Quarters
Introducing an innovative formworks system for faster concreting works
R-II Builders was tapped by the Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) to develop the Philippine Army Officers’ Quarters (PAOQ) in Fort Bonifacio. In undertaking the construction of the planned 28 four-story residential buildings in Fort Bonifacio, R-II Builders introduced an innovative formworks system.
Based on a technology employing prefabricated aluminum formworks, the innovation helped speed up the construction process—impacting positively on overall project delivery time and costs—enabling the 28 PAOQ buildings to be completed in a record time of only six months.
